Metal Doesn't Go In Sockets.....

So I have a new story.
Angel decided to stick a piece of metal in the plug socket.
The end.

Lol no really, this is what happened.

Amy got sent to bed then came back out with one her necklaces to show Jessica. Angel had gotten her hands on it and broke it. Jessica looked it over and told Amy she couldn't fix it because it was missing a piece. So Amy got sent back to bed. About 5 minutes later Amy came back and announced she knew where the missing piece was.
Angel had stuck it in the socket next to her bed.
Jessica went running back and of course Angel got in trouble. The sockets around the house are covered with plastic covers, but that one had a night-light instead. It covered both sockets, but Angel had pulled it out and stuck a little ball off metal in the hole.
Nick and I went back to look at it and Nick tried to get it out. He asked if we had any non-conductive metal and I asked if a safety pin would work.
Both he and Jessica looked at me like I was crazy.
*shrugs* How am I supposed to know what kind of metal is conductive is and what isn't? :D
Anyways, Nick explained what he needed and I went looking through my stuff to see if I had anything. I didn't.
Jessica just said they would cover the sockets with plastic covers for the night. But I was worried somehow that metal in that socket would cause problems. Our power goes out a lot out here and I thought maybe a surge would cause a fire...or something. But I didn't know for sure, I mean come on. I thought a safety pin would be okay.
So I went looking through my stuff again and found two wooden chopstick thingys that I have for my hair. And I got an idea.
Got my knife out and shaved the ends down till they were flat, then went in and wedged the ball part of the way out. But I couldn't get it over the lip....So then I got another idea.
Put my mouth up to the socket and carefully sucked the ball out.
I got the ball....and a mouthful of dust.
Jessica and I sat down with Angel and explained to her how dangerous it was putting things in the socket.
Everybody was laughing at me cause for the next 10 minutes I was spitting dust out of my mouth.
Again yuck!
But well worth it. :D
So yeah....that's my story.
Hope everyone is having a great summer and see you all this weekend :)

And We Were A Dirty People....

So we finally got our water back on....again.....For the second time since we've moved in. This time latest time was about....3 days I think. Maybe four. Whatever.
However long it was, being in a house with 5 other adults and no water isn't really my idea of fun.
Everybody was getting grouchy about not being about to take showers....I didn't mind too much cause it was like being at Girls Camp, just less dirt.
So I would walk around with a smile saying "And we were a dirty people"...nobody found it that funny. :P
I was also just getting over having Bronchitis so I needed to stay hydrated, and obviously that wasn't happening. Thankfully Mom and Dad gave me a case of water-bottles that lasted me until today. Thanks again for that.
For the next month I am off from watching the girls but I am taking care of Nicky half the time. He's 8 1/2 months now and a busy little boy. He's also becoming quite the dramatic. He had sticky fingers so I wouldn't let him near my computer and he cried like he had been beaten. It was quite pathetic but cute at the same time.

For those of you who haven't seen me in a while.....

This is what I look like now.
Woot....yeah...moving on.

Nothing else really to say for today. Hope everybody has a great day.

Day One

So I finally did it. I made a blog for all to see what's going on with my life. This is mostly for my family to keep them updated.
I moved with 5 other adults and 3 kids into a 6 bedroom, 2 bath house. It's more like a duplex. The other side is like 4 bedrooms I think. That's where Alex, Blaine and Amy live. We rent from Blaine.
I dont have any picture of

< This Is Blaine

This Is Alex >

Right here ^^^^^^^^^is a quick video I made of the pictures from the house and stuff. I got too frustrated trying to upload the pictures on here. So I just made a video instead.

I'm still babysitting the girls, and loving it. Angel is becoming VERY stubborn and independent. Half the time I want to snuggle with her, and the other half I want to throw her out the window.
I also watch Nicky while Lara is at work. So it's always a busy day for me. I've got at least two kids I'm keeping an eye on while cleaning the house. With 6 adults, it gets very dirty, very quickly.
I'm also learning how to cook. I made Chili from scratch the other day. And I didn't burn it! Everybody said it tasted pretty good. Ace is a cook, went to school for it and whatever, so he said he'll teach me a bit too.
Right now I'm just trying to get better. I went to the ER a few days ago and found out that I have Bronchitis. IT STINKS.
So now I'm not allowed to do anything. Nobody will let me clean or anything. It's driving me crazy!
Anyways. I'm hoping I'll be over this within a few days. *crosses fingers*
That's all I've got to say for now. Hope all is well with everyone.
